Established in 1983, Gaurav Engineering stands as a pioneering force in the plastic recycling industry. We began our journey as a consulting firm in plastic extrusion and have evolved into a specialized, world-class manufacturer exclusively dedicated to plastic recycling machinery.
LEGACY BUILT BY 3 BROTHERS
The journey of Gaurav Engineering began in 1983 within a modest workshop, driven by a clear and determined purpose: to manufacture high quality plastic screws with precision, reliability, and engineering discipline. What started as a focused manufacturing activity gradually evolved into the capability to design and build complete plastic processing plants.
As the global plastics industry evolved, recycling emerged as one of its most essential and impactful segments. When recycling began gaining momentum, Gaurav Engineering already held a strong advantage through its consulting driven approach and application expertise. This enabled the company to deliver solutions that consistently exceeded industry benchmarks. For the past four decades, Gaurav Engineering has focused exclusively on recycling technology.
At the heart of this growth lies a deeply human story. Gaurav Engineering was founded and built by 3 brothers: Mr. Nitin Patel (CTO), Mr. Rajni Patel (CFO), and Sanjay Patel (COO), whose shared values, discipline, and daily involvement transformed a small family operation into a globally respected recycling machinery manufacturer. Even today, all 3 founders continue to remain actively involved in the business, upholding the same principles of craftsmanship, integrity, and customer commitment on which the company was established.
SECOND GENERATION LEADERSHIP
The next chapter of Gaurav Engineering is being shaped by the 2nd generation, led by Mr. Arpit Patel. Over the years, Mr. Arpit has gained strong recognition in the flexible packaging industry, particularly in woven sack and blown film applications where waste handling is highly complex. His ability to understand these challenges and convert them into practical, high-performance recycling solutions has earned him wide respect within the industry. Beyond flexible packaging, his technical expertise extends across compounding, automotive, and molding applications. This combination of inherited values and hands-on experience positions him as a natural bridge between tradition and innovation. Since 2011, Arpit Patel has served as the (Technical Director & Chief Executive Officer) of Gaurav Engineering, carrying forward the founders’ philosophy while driving modern innovation, global expansion, and future-ready engineering solutions.

HISTORY
1983 VAPI GUJARAT
Founded by 3 brothers — Mr. Nitin Patel, Mr. Sanjay Patol, and Mr Rajni Patel, beginning the journey as a precision screw cutting Rextrusion retrofit company.
1985 Pan India
Expanded into product offerings with technical consulting services.
1987 Go Indigineous
Indigenous machine manufacturing begins; break through transition away from any third- party brand consulting.
1990 Recycling Shift
Entry into advanced plastic recycling technologies alongside extrusion system.
1994 Extrusion Leaders
Became strong brand re-known for advanced extrusion applications in profiles, pipes, multilayer films, mono-filament, solid rod, ball pen etc.
1997 Exclusive Recycling
1997 Exclusive Recycling Even with lucrative projects in extrusion, Company made strategic decision to focus exclusively on plastic recycling solutions.
2000 Re-Invest
Commitment. Introduction of a 40% inward reinvestment policy. Board agreed to permanent hire book to strengthen advancement in recycling technologies and in-house R&D.
2008 Silver Jubilee
Company marks a Silver Jubilee milestone, with 400 lines and operating successfully in the market. Expansion to 60,000 Sq.
2011 Relocation Ahmedabad
Mr. Arpit Patel (2nd Generation Leader) joins the Board of Directors. Strategic relocation and expansion phase begins. With the aim to dominate in Raffia recycling establishes 70% market share.
2013 Expansion
Capacity doubled for four consecutive years, with major investments and expansion across 3 locations.
2015 House of Recycling
Opening of India’s largest recycling machinery showroom, Trial & testing facility in Changodar Ahmadabad.
2017 Multi-Facility Operations
Company functions as automotive where a business unit operate on singular functions. Dedicated R&D, CNC, Assembly testing manufacturing units established; Separate corporate headquarters formalized.
2020 Global Reach
Expansion into international markets including the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and South Asia, with 30% revenue from exports.
2022 Portfolio Expansion
Major expansion into post consumer recycling across Crushing, Washing, Extrusion, and Pelletizing.
2025 Legacy Mentors
2nd generation effectively handling key position under senior leader’s active role as a mentors. Establishing new benchmark in the recycling legacy.
2028 Vision R-U
Gaurav team is envisioned with string of technological development and financial investments for offering not only in recycling, but also in compounding field. An evolutionary journey from House of Recycling to House of Up-cycling.
